Travelling Stock Route VII

The old travelling stock route (now decommissioned), on Long Plain below Mary's Hill, in the Frost Plains of the North, the Bimberi Wilderness.

Early morning, cold and chill,
a big frost lay on Mary's Hill ... I usually don't like the cold starts to the day but come early afternoon the temperature here are approaching 30°C.

It has been a stunning Autumn so far. I'm even looking forward to winter in the Bimberi this year, which is most unlike me.

I've spent decades trying to perfect a photographic version of Kline's Blue ... and this sky is about the closest blue I've found so far. A hybrid of French Ultramarine and Dioxazine Violet. I feel a sea change could be coming.
